Out with a Bang
We hope you had an amazing Christmas celebrating the coming of our Saviour! We are so thankful for the opportunity to have been able to celebrate with Ashley's family as they met their granddaughter for the first time. December was a whirlwind as we finished the year off with several camps and packed up for our next several months of furlough.
Camps
This year, the camp season was a lot different due to different regulations. To meet the regulations, we decided to have a Satellite day Camp in Welkom for kids and teens. In addition, two of the orphanages that use Word of Life material from Welkom asked us to host a camp for them at our property at Word of Life. While half of our team served at the kids camp at the Word of Life property, the other half of our team served at the kids Satellite Camp at a church we work with in Welkom. We had 29 kids at our property and around 75-90 kids came to the day camp in Welkom. Praise the Lord for several kids and teens who came to trust Christ during these camps! It just goes to show that even in just a few days, God can make an impact in people's hearts for eternity! After the weekend of kids camp, our whole team reunited for the teen camp in Welkom where we had 45-65 teens come to camp. After camp was done for the day, we did door to door ministry in the community. It was such an amazing week of ministry as we served together as a whole team of staff, interns and students. We are also thankful for the time we had to minister alongside the church in Welkom that is pastored by one of our alumni named Tshepo. Please be praying for him as he is a young pastor seeking to make an impact in a community that is very difficult to minister in. Pray as he does follow up with the kids, teens and the community that we ministered to while we where there. Pray as he is seeking more people to help him serve the church as he hopes to focus more on the older men and women of the community and pray for wisdom and help for him as he serves the community. We are grateful for the privilege of serving and working alongside him.

Trusted Christ
as their Saviour
We are so grateful for the Lord's faithfulness and that he has allowed us to continue to serve and minister to others in spite of the challenges. We had the opportunity to bring people what they needed most this year; the hope of the gospel.
Over the coming months, we will be traveling around the Bahamas and US for furlough, reconnecting with people and raising the remainder of our support. We are still living in very uncertain times but we are so thankful that we can move forward confident in the Lord's sovereignty and hopeful of all he will do during this season. We pray that we would be a blessing to everyone we cross paths with and trust that he will do amazing things.
Thanks so much for your love, support, and prayers especially during this challenging year. We love and appreciate you so much and can't wait to see many of you during our furlough. Please let us know how we can specifically be praying for you!
Please pray...
- for safety & health as we travel & for Leilani as she adjusts to different surroundings- for the Lord to use us to be a blessing during our furlough
- for the Lord to provide additional ministry partners & the remainder of our support
- for the Lord to bring in more students for 2021 and provision for funds for them. (school year begins in Feb)
- for the rest of our team as they continue to serve in South Africa
