Evidence of Faithfulness
The last two months have been full of traveling, meetings, & attempts to figure out my visa. The Lord has been so faithful throughout this process & it has been such a blessing to see his hand of provision whether it be through a complete stranger loaning me their car for a support meeting (yes, this actually happened) or through providing new supporters & people to connect with. My heart is full of thankfulness for the ways God had encouraged me along the way as I have had the opportunity to catch up with friends & family. It has been both a growing & trust-building time for me & I’m grateful for both the ups & downs that have pushed me to have a deeper dependence on Him.
I am now at about 50% of my monthly support & almost 30% of my setup funds. In two days, Lord willing, I will finally be able to apply for my visa in Chicago after not being able to submit in DC when I went about a month ago. However, God has been faithful to grant Kyle, another WOL missionary, smooth sailing when he applied for his visa last week in Chicago & we pray that he will do the same for me & two others looking to head to SA as interns as well. We are trusting that God will grant us all our visas in his perfect timing. In the meantime, we seek to be faithful to what he has put in front of us & for me, that’s support raising. Next week I plan to head back to the Bahamas to continue support raising from there. I look forward to more opportunities to connect with people & share about what God is doing in SA.
I am grateful for the opportunities that the Lord has given me to stay connected to WOLZA and the people in South Africa. While I’ve been gone, I’ve been able to help out with a few special projects as well as share devos one night with the girl students. It has been such a blessing to be able to continue to invest in the ministry and the lives of people there even from thousands of miles away.
If you would like to hear more about what God is doing, please let me know so we can connect or if you feel the Lord leading you to be a part of it, you can do so at give.wol.org/aaberner. Thank you all for your encouragement, support & prayers throughout this journey. I am so thankful to the Lord for you!
